I’m Marisol, a Mexican-American Illustrator. I am working toward my B.F.A. at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. 

My hometown of Spring Texas did not prepare me to deal with the Wisconsin winters, but I try to imagine if I can't be warm ever again, maybe all the characters and worlds I like to create are staying warm instead.

My interests lie in Editorial, Sequential Art, and Children’s Publication. To bring stories to life I enjoy working in a mix of traditional and digital processes. I think it is interesting to combine the focus and precision I find in working digitally with the looseness and textures of working with traditional media.
